OVERRATED: 'Go On' on NBC

You can't blame NBC for trying to recapture the days of <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ENTTV0000541" title="Friends (tv program)" href="/topic/entertainment/television/friends-%28tv-program%29-ENTTV0000541.topic">"Friends"</a> and "must see TV," but this new series with <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PECLB003404" title="Matthew Perry" href="/topic/entertainment/matthew-perry-PECLB003404.topic">Matthew Perry</a> seems mostly content with just providing a familiar face in a familiar format. Turning to the typical formula of combining misfits in a small space (this time in a group therapy session), this show on first impression doesn't offer more than mean-spirited one-liners and sports cameos. Perry &#8212; and the rest of us &#8212; deserve more.
