  2. Marvel: Will Benedict Cumberbatch show up to take your temperature as “Doctor Strange?” Will Chris Pratt and his buddies give you a sneak peek of “Guardians of the Galaxy 2?” Might Thor show up with a look at “Thor: Ragnarok?” And what about the latest “Spiderman” reboot? Perhaps. Marvel rarely disappoints. 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Hall H
  3. “Snowden”: Why has Oliver Stone never appeared at Comic-Con before? Must be a conspiracy. He’s slated to preview his new Edward Snowden biopic, and leading man Joseph Gordon-Levitt, no stranger to the Con, will be there, too. 11:45 a.m., Thursday, Hall H
  4. “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets”: Luc Besson wrote, directed, and produced this new sci-fi flick, set in an intergalactic city that features creatures from thousands of planets. With so few original big-budget ideas being made these days, “Valerian” could be a breath of fresh air, if that’s what they breathe. 1 p.m., Thursday, Hall H
  5. “Aliens”: 30th Anniversary: It’s not game over anymore. James Cameron will be on hand, along with Sigourney Weaver, Bill Paxton, Lance Henriksen, Michael Biehn, and yes, ever Paul Reiser, to take a look at the sci-fi classic. “Avatar 2” spoilers, anyone? 3:15 p.m., Saturday, Hall H
