Step one: Follow the experts and tag them

@DiscoverSD: We’ll be reporting live from the Comic-Con scene with all the latest news, celebrity sightings and more! Bio: “The leading online lifestyle guide for #SanDiego nightlife, dining, shopping, beauty & travel.”

@UTnightday: The San Diego Union-Tribune’s entertainment team will also be reporting inside and outside of the convention. Follow for insider information and big announcements in film and television. Bio: “@sdut’s lifestyle + entertainment guide.”

@Comic_Con: Straight from Comic-Con, this is your official feed for the 2015 spectacle. This year, they’re using #ToucanTip to share exclusive info. Bio: “The ONLY OFFICIAL Twitter for Comic-Con!”

@DCComics: You can trust this major comic book source to spill insider tips and giveaway gold. Bio: “The official home of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash and the rest of The World’s Greatest Super Heroes!”

@Marvel: The world’s most well-known character entertainment company will have event announcements and giveaways for followers. Bio: “The official Twitter for Marvel Comics, Movies, Games and more.”

@TheRealStanLee: Stan Lee is the former chairman of Marvel Comics, creator of Spider-Man and X-Men and a legendary hardcore Comic-Con enthusiast. Bio: “Stan Lee, Co-Creator of Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, X-Men, etc.”

@SD_Comic_Con: Looking for exclusive information, or at least a few tips from a self-proclaimed expert? Look no further than this feed. Bio: “The San Diego Comic-Con Unofficial Blog. Your one stop for everything SDCC. Not affiliated, not filtered, and not biased.”

@SDConventionCtr: It’s the main hub of the action during Comic-Con. Refresh frequently for Convention Center news and venue info. Bio: “World-class convention center in San Diego. Celebrating 25 years of success”

@OutsideComicCon: This feed has an in-the-know perspective of what’s happening outside of the Comic-Con gates. Bio: “Uncovering all the amazing events & happenings planned in downtown San Diego during Comic-Con!”

@nerdist: Chris Hardwick is Comic-Con’s most in-demand moderator for some of the biggest panels. He’ll emcee the most important happenings during the weekend. Bio: “Stand-upper, Zombie Therapist, Talking Snake and POINTS giver.”

@HallHLine: The infamous line to get into the Con’s biggest panels now has it’s now fan-fueled Twitter handle. Check for updates, photos and tips on getting in. Bio: “I am the longest, nerdiest, most demoralizing line at any convention ever made and that’s just how you like it.”

@MTVGeek: Your resource for all the hip, young and geeky Comic-Con action. Bio: “MTV Geek is the home for comics, video games, animation, toys, hobby gaming and tech on mtv.com.”

@CNNGeekOut: Get a CNN perspective on Comic-Con, catered to your inner-geek. Bio: “CNN Geek Out! features stories that actually matter to the nerd community but are still legible for those who are not-in-the-know.”

@EW: Entertainment Weekly stays on the pulse of celebrity gossip. Follow to stalk your favorite star. Bio: “Pop culture news and opinion from Entertainment Weekly and EW.com.”

The Official Comic-Con App: This free app gives a basic run-down of the schedules, exhibitors, maps and events. It’s not fancy, but it hits all the essentials.

San Diego Parking: Find the cheapest parking rates in San Diego, search over 300 parking garages, check out maps showing the meters and find out where your car is if it gets towed.

ComiXology: While you’re waiting in line, browse ComiXology for over 30,000 comics from Marvel to DC, Image, Disney and more.
