Olympic Gymnastic Champions in San Diego

If you managed to miss yesterday’s Olympic moment of triumph, allow us to catch you up. The U.S. women’s gymnastics team took gold, a title that was last held 16 years ago. The winning score placed them legs above Russia, proving that their success was more than just chance.

Our country’s pride swelled for the young women who earned gold while representing the red, white and blue. Now, you can watch and congratulate these gymnasts in San Diego on Thursday, September 13.

As part of the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions, the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team along with 2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin and teammates Chellsie Memmel and Alicia Sacramone will put on a grand gymnastics showcase at Valley View Casino Center.

This 40-city tour invites Americans to celebrate the success as they welcome the Olympians home from their major triumph. You’ll be able to catch the high-flying, dynamic action in person as our newest gold medalists strut their stuff. Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Jordyn Weber, McKayla Maroney and Kyla Ross will all be there, along with Olympians Jake Dalton, Jonathan Horton, John Orozco and many more. And while the 2012 teams will draw a large fanbase from their recent victories, 2008’s Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin will be back to prove that she’s still got the talent it takes. These champions will also be joined by local gymnasts along the tour and will present a range of work including acrobatic, rhythmic and trampoline.
