8.2: Flicks on the Bricks
La Jolla’s signature outdoor movie series kicks off this weekend with this year focusing on film noir with a connection to America’s finest city. The first movie to be screened is a double bill of Devil Thumbs a Ride and The Clay Pigeon.

8.2: MOPA 35th anniversary
Guests will be asked to hashtag and print photos that will be displayed on a large push pin wall at the Balboa Park museum. The event will mimic a Push Pin Party held on the museum’s then unfinished walls when it first opened in 1983.
