The storefront window of a Burbank flower shop was shattered Tuesday after a mini-van reportedly rammed into the building.

Just before 2 p.m., police responded to reports of the crash at Alameda Avenue and Glenoaks Boulevard, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.

No information on injuries to passengers of the van or occupants of the building was immediately available.

[Updated 5:10 p.m.: The driver was a 23-year-old Los Angeles man who worked at the shop, Glenoaks Flowers and Gifts, police said.

Officers believe he accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brakes, said Burbank Police Lt. Matthew Ferguson.

The man was transported to a local hospital as a precaution, but no major injuries were reported, Ferguson added.]
