Taran Noah Smith, who played the youngest son on the TV show "Home Improvement," was arrested early today in Burbank on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
At about 1:20 a.m. today, officers saw a 1998 silver Honda Accord near Third Street and Burbank Boulevard that was stopped and angled to the curb, Sgt. Darin Ryburn said.
The engine was running, the vehicle was in drive and in front of a fire hydrant when officers approached Smith, 27, who was the lone occupant in the car, Ryburn said.
Police reporting smelling marijuana before finding the drug in Smith's car. Smith, of Sherman Oaks, was arrested and booked into Glendale jail on $10,000 bail.
He is due in court March 1.
