Two lanes on northbound I-5 in Burbank closed for road repairs
Two lanes have been closed on the Golden State (5) Freeway at Buena Vista Street as crews work to repair a section of asphalt, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Sigalert has been issued for the closure, which occurred after the freeway surface in the two right lanes buckled between Alameda Avenue and Burbank Boulevard, according to the CHP.
As of 2:25 p.m., the closure was in effect for the freeway between Burbank Boulevard and Scott Road.
The repairs were expected to continue until 3:30 p.m. today.
