Crash sends 1 woman to hospital; man arrested on suspicion of DUI

A man that was allegedly driving under the influence injured another driver in a crash early Saturday morning and was arrested.

The crash occurred around 2:00 a.m. at the corner of West Victory Boulevard and North Parish Place. Burbank Police responded to the scene after receiving numerous 911 calls.

The victim, a woman driving a pickup truck, was treated by Burbank Paramedics and transported to Saint Joseph’s Medical Center with a head injury.

The victim’s truck was overturned and she was able to exit the vehicle without a physical rescue.

The other driver was determined to be under the influence after several sobriety checks. He was arrested and taken to St. Joseph’s to be checked prior to being booked at the Glendale jail.
