A 16-year-old Glendale girl was stabbed in the hand Sunday night after two men fought with her brother at the Hookah Lounge on Colorado Street, police said.

The girl’s 20-year-old brother followed a patrol car about 9:58 p.m. on East Colorado and South Everett streets and flashed his vehicle’s high beams to get the officer’s attention, according to Glendale police reports.

When the officer stopped, the girl’s brother ran toward the officer and claimed that two men had just attacked him and stabbed his sister in the hand, police said.

A third sibling told police that one of the men who fought her brother also stabbed her teen sister at the smoking and entertainment lounge in the 800 block of East Colorado Street, police said.

The officer said the teen was crying hysterically and holding her hand, which was bleeding profusely.

They described their attackers as 20-year-old men who were the only occupants in silver vehicle, police said.
