Attorney receives congrats from judge

Barry Ross received congratulations from Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Fred Rotenberg after Ross was recently sworn in as the 2012 president of the Glendale Bar Assn. by Glendale Mayor Laura Friedman.

A native of the Glendale and Burbank area, Barry just completed a two-year term as the 2010-11 president of the Burbank Bar Assn. Known best as one of Southern California’s most respected real estate attorneys and mediators, Ross earned his juris doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in 1975, and a master’s in accounting and management in 1974 from USC, Marshall School of Business.

Ross has been a licensed real estate broker for 38 years and has served as a past president of the Glendale Assn. of Realtors, a panel attorney for the California Assn. of Realtors, and as a local judge pro tem. Ross also enjoys contributing to the community as an adjunct professor of law, business, real estate, and estate planning at several local colleges and universities, as a nationally published author and speaker, president of the Estate Planning Center in Burbank, member of the Burbank Kiwanis Club and executive board member of the Verdugo Hills Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Ross was recently invited to join the prestigious panel of ADR Services Inc. as a Distinguished Mediator, and he is an Honored Member of the California Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, and member of the Dispute Resolution Section of the American Bar Assn.

Ross is best known for applying his significant dispute resolution skills in assisting his clients with enlightened, common-sense paths to solving their legal disputes.
