The following were taken from reports filed with the Burbank Police Department.

Area 1

1000 block of West Burbank Boulevard

At 2:35 p.m. on Nov. 20 someone stole $15,000 in cash from a North Hollywood man while he was changing his tire in the Costco parking lot. The man had placed the cash in a men’s bag on his passenger seat when he saw his rear tire was flat. No one was seen entering his vehicle while he changed the tire.

2600 block of North Hollywood Way

At 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 22 Robert Coddington, 41, was arrested for possession of brass knuckles that were discovered during an X-ray screening of his carry-on baggage at Bob Hope Airport. The Hollywood resident reportedly admitted to owning the brass knuckles, but had forgotten they were in the baggage. He was released from jail later that evening.

10900 block of Sherman Way

At 8:35 p.m. on Nov. 19, two Latino men entered a Metro PCS store with a handgun and forced the clerk to remove all the cash from the register. Both men were described as between 18 and 25 years old with brown hair and brown eyes, thin builds and as wearing Dodger baseball caps, dark jeans and black jackets.

Area 2

1200 block of South Flower Street

At 4 p.m. on Nov. 27, Edgar Velasquez, 34, and Jorge Gamez, 28, allegedly attempted to steal electrical switches from Home Depot by placing the items in their pants. When loss prevention officers tried to detain the men, a struggle ensued. After escorting Velasquez, of Glendale, and Gamez, of Los Angeles, back inside the store, Burbank police arrested the men on suspicion of robbery.

900 block of University Avenue

At 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 29, a man in a dark sweatshirt and blue jeans was caught on video camera stealing bike racks off two parked vehicles. He drove south on Bel Aire Drive with the racks, worth about $1,000, in a dark-colored, late-model Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon.
