Police investigating report of shots fired in Burbank

Police are seeking leads in a shots-fired incident that occurred just before midnight Tuesday.

Burbank police received multiple calls at 11:40 p.m. Tuesday regarding shots fired in the area of Grismer Avenue and Peyton Street, where officers later recovered shell casings in the street, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.

Witnesses reported hearing a man and woman arguing in the street before the gun shots were fired, Ryburn said.

Police reportedly canvassed the area, but were unable to locate any victims or property damage.

The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is urged to call Burbank police at (818) 238-3210.
