Friday Flicks At The Forum
The Arts Commission will be screening “Exit Through the Gift Shop” at 7 p.m. at the Festival of Arts Forum Theatre. The film is about an eccentric French shopkeeper and amateur filmmaker who attempt to find and befriend Banksy, only to have the artist turn the camera back on its owner. The film is rated R. Admission is free.

Artist Open Studios
Come visit the studios of 25 of Laguna’s talented artists from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event includes free parking and trolley service from the Act V parking lot, 1900 Laguna Canyon Road.
ZeroTrash Cleanup
ZeroTrash’s Community Cleanup, held on the first Saturday of every month, takes place from 10 a.m. to noon. Talk With The Mayor
The Laguna Canyon Conservancy is hosting Mayor Jane Egly at its monthly dinner meeting at 6 p.m. at Tivoli Terrace, 650 Laguna Canyon Road. The mayor will answer questions from the audience. ‘Lonesome Traveler’

Fine Arts Exhibit
Kids from the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach will show off their artwork in the club’s annual juried art exhibition from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Main Branch, 1085 Laguna Canyon Road. A reception and Family Fun Night will be at 5:30 p.m.
Movie Night
Transition Laguna presents the film “How to Boil a Frog” at its Movie Night in Bridge Hall at Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Ann’s Drive. A vegetarian potluck begins at 6 p.m. with the movie starting at 7 p.m. A $5 donation is suggested.

Film Society Series
The Laguna Beach Film Society’s four-month-long documentary series “The Earth’s Sustainability in Film,” begins at 7 p.m. at the Forum Theatre. Two films will be shown: “Garbage Warrior” and “Plastic Tide.” Tickets are $15 at the door.

Mystery Authors
