South Coast Highway: Petty theft was reported in the 600 block at 1:29 p.m. on Friday. The caller reported a Wi-Fi Internet system was stolen out of a guest’s room at the Pacific Edge Hotel.

Forest Avenue: A suspicious person was reported in the 200 block at 5:35 p.m. on Friday. The caller reported a man was following him and his girlfriend from store to store for the past 10 minutes. The caller said he and his girlfriend are now inside a store and the staff locked the door. The man tried to go inside the store and stood outside when he found it locked. The suspect was unknown to the caller and looked homeless.

Park Avenue: Reckless driving was reported in the 600 block at 8:40 a.m. on Saturday. The caller said a black SUV with lots of stickers on the back was speeding down the street and had ran a couple of stop signs.

Glenneyre Street: Public intoxication was reported in the 300 block at 6:14 p.m. on Saturday. The caller said a woman who was walking a dog was laying on the ground and the dog was loose. The caller reported that the woman then got up and was on the sidewalk with a man, but was having trouble standing. The woman, a Laguna Beach resident, was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

South Coast Highway: A disturbance was reported in the 500 block at 9:41 p.m. on Saturday. The caller said there was loud music despite calling three times and asking nicely.

Treetop Lane: Suspicious persons were reported in the 21600 block at 2:50 p.m. on Monday. The caller said two men in their 20s were walking around the perimeter of the school and taking pictures. Although the caller said the information was second hand from a Top of the World Elementary School teacher.

South Coast Highway: Vandalism was reported in the 1700 block at 12:44 a.m. on Sunday. The caller said a guest had damaged a guitar and refused to pay. The caller reported the guest was intoxicated. Police found there was no crime.

South Coast Highway: Harassment was reported in the 2000 block at 11:43 a.m. on Sunday. The caller said they had received sexual messages from an unknown male. The caller believes it could be a man who lives in her apartment complex.

Madison Place: An animal call was reported in the 1000 block at 11:57 a.m. on Saturday. The caller said a white goat’s head was stuck in a fence behind their house. The goat was released from the fence.

South Coast Highway: Sexual battery was reported in the 900 block at 5:27 p.m. on Sunday. The caller said a 15-year-old employee of Thalia Surf Shop was grabbed and kissed by a Laguna Beach resident who came into the store. The man grabbed the girl’s arm pulling her closer to him, the caller said. The caller reported the man had harassed another female employee at the Second Reef Surf Shop earlier in the day. The man was arrested on suspicion of willfully resisting a peace officer.

9th Avenue: A disturbance was reported in the 31900 block at 3:37 a.m. on Saturday. The caller said there was loud talking coming from a backyard.

Coast Highway: Vandalism was reported in the 30800 block at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday. The caller said an unknown suspect scratched the dedication plaque at Treasure Island Park. The caller didn’t know when the vandalism had occurred.
