AREA 1

Emerald Bay and North Coast Highway: An animal call was reported at 1:45 p.m. on Friday. The caller said a deer was running northbound on Coast Highway. Police were unable to locate the animal.

Hillcrest Drive: Vandalism was reported in the 600 block on Friday. The caller said there was damage to the Riddle Field bathrooms.

North Coast Highway: Grand theft was reported in the 400 block at 2:14 p.m. on Monday. The caller said a fountain was stolen from the front of Schaar Galleries. The loss was valued at $2,400.

AREA 3

Park Avenue: A burglary was reported in the 600 block at 7:09 a.m. on Saturday. The caller said radio equipment was stolen out of a Ford Mustang. The loss was valued at $300.

Broadway Street: A disturbance was reported in the 300 block at 11:50 a.m. on Sunday. The caller said a male subject was screaming about weapons and threatening people at the bus depot. The caller didn’t know if the man actually had a weapon. A second caller reported a man and woman were threatening him. The man was carrying a screwdriver, the second caller said.

Glenneyre Street: Petty theft was reported in the 300 block at 4:51 p.m. on Sunday. The caller said an iPad was stolen by a male suspect in his early 20s. Four men saw the suspect when he ran passed them, the caller reported. The loss was valued at $600.

Chillon Way: Shots were reported fired in the 2800 block at 6:06 a.m. on Tuesday. The caller said he heard what sounded like a single shot coming from Alta Laguna Boulevard about five minutes ago. Police were unable to locate the source of the noise.

Cress Street: Objects were reported thrown from a vehicle in the 400 block at 9:26 p.m. on Saturday. The caller said six to 10 teenagers were throwing food at passersby. The caller reported there was a house party in the area, then said there wasn’t. Popcorn and food debris was reported in the street.

Anita Street: Petty theft was reported in the 600 block at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday. The caller said an iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The loss was valued at $100.

Glenneyre Street: A disturbance was reported in the 900 block at 2:47 p.m. on Sunday. The caller said about 20 skateboarders were in an alley and using stairs as a ramp.

AREA 5

Virginia Way: Grand theft was reported in the 32100 block at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The caller said several thousand dollars of jewelry were stolen. The caller also reported they might know the suspect. The loss was valued at $10,000 to $12,000.

Eagle Rock Way: Vandalism was reported in the 31500 block at 3:42 p.m. on Saturday. The caller said someone vandalized his vehicle, possibly neighborhood kids keying cars. The caller also said the vandalism happens in the afternoons.

Coast Highway: A suspicious person was reported in the 30900 block at 7:47 p.m. on Monday. The caller, a manager at Albertsons, said a 20- to 30-year old man was harassing a 16-year-old female employee. The caller said the man told the employee he would wait around for her when she got off work and that he was going to jail soon so he needed company.
