Police memorial gets donation from Montage

The Hearts of Montage donated $5,000 to the Laguna Beach Police Officers Memorial Artwork Fund during its Tree Lighting Ceremony and Community Open House Dec. 2.

The fund is maintained by the Laguna Beach Community Foundation and was established to support an arts installation in Laguna to honor the city’s police, including Jon Coutchie and Gordon French who died in the line of duty.

The fund’s goal is $40,000, according to Larry Bammer, president of the Laguna Beach Police Officers Assn. For more information or to make a tax-deductible contribution to the fund, call (949) 715-8223.
