John Wayne Airport has announced new terminal additions that will showcase what the county has to offer.

The Orange County Board of Supervisors approved a lease with Paradies, which will operate “Beachfront News” in Terminal C. The resort-themed store will feature six surf cams that give passengers a peek at the beaches gracing the coast.

Paradies will also operate the OC TravelMart in Terminal C, which will feature Irvine-based Diedrich Coffee.

Besides Paradies, Hudson Group has also leased out storefronts at JWA and plans to incorporate O.C.-centric elements.

“Hudson Group has partnered with a variety of local tourist destinations to showcase some of the best of Orange County to the traveling public,” airport director Alan L. Murphy said in a statement.

In the Terminal A Hudson News store, there will be a “Discover Orange County” section, which features information on local sights, such as Mission San Juan Capistrano, the Bowers Museum and the Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda.

Hudson is also featuring a new concept store, a partnership between Sunglass Hut and Rip Curl, that gives guests to the area a chance to adjust their wardrobe with the necessary “O.C.” beachwear.

The renovations are expected to be completed by November.
