IRVINE — Sophomore forward Laura McGrail scored two goals for the host Anteaters in the Big West Conference game Sunday.

McGrail converted an assist from Mar Rodriguez in the 24th minute to erase a 1-0 deficit. She scored an unassisted goal in the 46th minute for her fourth game-winner of the season.

Rachel Wood converted a penalty kick in the 83rd minute for UCI (7-8, 3-1 in conference).

UCSB is 3-9-2, 0-3-1.

SAN LUIS OBISPO — Sophomore forward Cameron Iwasa scored both goals for the visiting Anteaters in the Big West Conference contest Sunday.

UCI (3-9-1, 0-4 in conference) is on a 10-match winless streak and has lost seven in a row.

Gor Kirakosyan had both assists for UCI.

SAN DIEGO — Orange Coast College finished third in the 14-team field on Saturday at the meet hosted by UC San Diego.

Sophomore Austin Little was 15th, completing the 8,000-meter course in 26 minutes, 57 seconds.

OCC’s Jay Bonthius was 17th in 27:00.5.

Triton Classic

SAN DIEGO — Orange Coast College finished sixth in the 21-school field that included 19 four-year programs on Sunday at the event hosted by UC San Diego.

Leanne Allen was the top finisher for OCC, completing the 6,000-meter course in 23 minutes, 34.5 seconds to place 23rd.

Karen Silvas (29th in 23:28.3) and Nisreen Rizk (36th in 23:48) also cracked the top 50 for the Pirates.
