Alternative Christmas Market

St. Mark’s 28th annual Alternative Christmas Market is from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at St. Mark Presbyterian Church, 2200 San Joaquin Hills Road, Newport Beach. Admission and parking are free. Worship service will continue as usual at 9:30 a.m. The project is underwritten by St. Mark’s Peace and Justice Commission, which means that all funds raised go to the participating charities.

Sunday Musicale

Kara Masek and Tom Vendafreddo will perform classics from the Broadway musical songbook at 3 p.m. in the Friends Meeting Room at the Newport Beach Central Library, 1000 Avocado Ave. Admission is free, but space is limited.

The Fenians

The Fenians play a free show from 2 to 4 p.m. on the patio at Muldoon’s Irish Pub, 202 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach.

Youth Performance

Interfaith Thanksgiving

Celebration

The 17th annual Interfaith Celebration of Thanksgiving is at 7 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Costa Mesa, 420 W. 19th St., Costa Mesa. People from all faiths are invited. A reception will follow an interfaith service and performance by choirs. Two cans of food will be the admission charge and they will be donated to local charities. The Junior League’s Christmas Co., comes back to the O.C. Fair & Event Center for its 36th year with more than 90 unique vendors. ‘Dead Letter Office’
