Shannon Beador of ‘Real Housewives’ prices Newport home at $13 million

Shannon Beador of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” and her husband, entrepreneur David Beador, have put their home in Newport Beach back on the market at $12.998 million.

Entered through wrought iron gates, the European Country-inspired residence by architect Richard Krantz is sited on more than half an acre in affluent Crystal Cove area of Newport Beach.

The home, with interiors by Robert Ricker, features a double-height foyer with a sweeping staircase, large formal areas, two chef’s kitchen, a fitness center, a master wing, six bedrooms and 11 bathrooms in 13,306 square feet.

Among amenities is a half-size indoor basketball court, a theater room and a wood-paneled study/library. An elevator services the home’s four floors.

Landscaped grounds contain formal gardens, an outdoor kitchen, pool and spa. A guest/pool house adds an additional bedroom en-suite, while a subterranean garage allows for parking for up to 11 vehicles.

The Beadors previously asked about $12 million for the home late last year and as much as $16 million in 2013, records show. John Cain of HOM Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent.

Shannon Beador, 50, and Elizabeth Rovsek joined the “Real Houswives” cast for Season 9, replacing longtime O.C. cast members Alexis Bellino and Gretchen Rossi.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Meghan King Edmonds, wife of former Angels slugger Jim Edmonds, and Katie Chadwick Hamilton, wife of current Angels outfielder Josh Hamilton, will join the show for its 10th season.
