Biz News: Rutan & Tucker names new managing partner

Rutan & Tucker LLP has a new managing partner, Steve Nichols.

Nichols joined what is now Orange County’s largest full-service law firm in 1981. His specialties are in construction and business law as well as litigation, according to a news release from the Costa Mesa-based firm. Before becoming managing partner, he served on Rutan’s executive committee for five years.

Growers Ranch to mark 45 years

Growers Ranch, which sells fresh produce at 2016 Newport Blvd., plans to host a 45th anniversary celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 22.

The event will feature “giveaways, raffles, tastings” and “good ‘ol fashion family fun,” according to the store’s website.

Boutique Real Estate opens in CdM

Brea-based Boutique Real Estate Group, a design-oriented brokerage, is opening a second office in Corona del Mar, at 3653 E. Coast Hwy.

“The Boutique Real Estate Group has invested heavily in bringing all aspects of the real estate experience completely in-house,” according to a news release. “From design, staging, photography, cinematography and social media to technology, Internet optimization and cloud-based transaction management.

“This not only provides them complete control of the design, marketing and technology of luxury real estate but also gives them the look and feel of a true boutique marketing agency.”

Netwin Solutions gets honor

Anand Raghavendran, chief executive of Irvine-based Netwin Solutions, a global trade management concern, has received the Pros to Know Award from Supply & Demand Chain Executives.

The honor “recognizes supply chain executives at manufacturing and nonmanufacturing enterprises who are leading initiatives to help prepare their companies’ supply chains for the significant challenges of today’s business climate,” according to a news release.

Raghavendran, whose expertise is in U.S. Customs, compliance and data management, has advised several large companies, including Mitsubishi Motors North America, UTI worldwide, Mattel and DHL.
