Matt Wilkes is the online editor for the Daily Pilot and TimesOC. He also designs TimesOC pages. He started in newspaper production at Celtic Newspapers in Cardiff, Wales, in 1996 before moving to the sports desk of Wales on Sunday in 2000. In 2004 he moved to California and got a job designing the Pilot. From 2005-09 he designed the Glendale News-Press, Burbank Leader, Pasadena Sun and La Cañada Valley Sun, winning 17 CNPA awards.
