Mr. Irrelevant waived

Justice Cunningham, the 38th Mr. Irrelevant who was the dead-last pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, was waived by the Indianapolis Colts, the club said Monday.

A tight end from South Carolina, Cunningham caught four of the seven passes thrown his way in the preseason, including all three in the exhibition finale against Cincinnati.

Cunningham was celebrated and roasted during the annual Irrelevant Week in Newport Beach in June.

Indianapolis quarterback Chandler Harnish, who was Mr. Irrelevant in 2012, was also waived, but signed to the Colts’ practice squad.
