Power restored at GCC

Share

The power was restored at Glendale Community College just after 7 a.m. Saturday, officials reported.

Classes on the main campus and the Garfield campus will remain in session Saturday.

“Crews had to work through the night to repair the damage,” said Glendale College Police Chief Gary Montecuollo.

An equipment malfunction had knocked power out at the school Friday morning, prompting officials to cancel classes and close the campus.

The outage also left the college’s email and phone systems disabled Friday.
