Collision on Central Avenue exit of of eastbound Ventura (134) Freeway shuts down offramp

[UPDATE 4:30 p.m.] The Central Avenue exit off of the eastbound Ventura (134) Freeway was reopened after a brief closure Saturday afternoon due to a two-vehicle collision.

Officer Peter Bishop with the California Highway Patrol said one vehicle on the offramp had turned over on its side.

The Glendale Fire Department sent to two fire engines, one truck and one ambulance to the scene, according to Brandy Villaneuva, spokesperson for the department. Two people were transported to the hospital, she said.

A Sigalert was issued at 1:56 p.m. All lanes were reopened around 3:30 p.m.
