GIRLS’ SOCCER
Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 1, Notre Dame 0: The Tologs wrapped up second place in the Mission League and kept their hopes for sharing a league crown in tact with Monday’s win on the road.
Savannah Viola scored on a corner kick in the second minute to lead Sacred Heart (15-1-3, 7-1-1) to its fifth consecutive win.
The win, coupled with Chaminade’s tie with Alemany on Monday, ensures the Tologs will finish no lower than second place in the league standings. Harvard-Westlake defeated Louisville on Monday to clinch a share of the league title. The Tologs finish their league season Wednesday at Chaminade with a victory giving them a share of the league title.
Flintridge Prep 3, Webb 0: Kaelin King finished with two goals and Katherine Pinney added one on Monday to spark the host Rebels in a Prep League match. Whitney Cohen registered two assists for Flintridge Prep (12-2-4, 4-2-2 in league).
