Floored by so much bad driving in Glendale

While driving from Burbank to Glendale on a recent afternoon, I decided to take Glenoaks Boulevard. I pulled up to the light at Highland Avenue and waited.

When it turned green, this white car in front of me floored the gas pedal and off he went — so fast that his car violently veered from left-to-right and I honestly thought he was going to crash. He straightened himself out and then turned onto Kenilworth. Good riddance. I looked at the car next to me and we both were shaking our heads in disbelief. I felt as if I were at the Indy 500. Is there not a remedy for this?
