GCC enrollment rises for full-time students

Enrollment at Glendale Community College is up slightly from last year in the number of full-time students taking classes during the fall semester.

This fall, 5,523 full-time students are enrolled at the college, which represents a 1.75% increase over last fall, with 95 full-time additional students this year compared to 2012, according to Edward Karpp, dean of research, planning, and grants for Glendale Community College.

During 2013-14, Glendale Community College will receive $4,636 in state funds for each full-time student enrolled at the college. Based on fall enrollment figures, the college will receive $25,604,628.
