James J. O’Donnell Jr. May 8, 1947 - December 8, 2012

James J. O’Donnell Jr., 65, of La Crescenta, CA, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, in the Hospice Unit at VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center in North Hills, CA. Born May 8, 1947, he was a 1965 graduate of Forest View High School in Arlington Heights, IL, and attended the University of Dubuque, Dubuque, IA. He was an Army veteran. He lived in California for more than a decade, where he was an account manager for Kwik Travel Staffing Inc. in Burbank, CA.

Survivors are his sister, Brigid O’Donnell, of Des Plaines, IL, his brothers, Barry (Teresa) O’Donnell of Bolingbrook, IL, Colin (Mike Pelter) O’Donnell of Naperville, IL, and Kyle O’Donnell of Des Plaines, IL, and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Lou, and his brothers Kevin and Brian.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Road, Naperville, IL. He will be interred at a later date at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego.
