The Flintridge Prep boys’ volleyball team earned advancement to the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division IV playoffs after a 25-12, 25-16, 25-8 victory over Nuview Bridge in Tuesday’s first round at Flintridge Prep. The victory marked the second consecutive year the Prep League co-champion Rebels opened the postseason with a win and moved the squad into Thursday’s second round versus Hacienda League champion La Verne Damien (30-6-1), the divisional 10th-ranked team.
