Police have released surveillance photos of two suspects from an alleged shoplifting incident at Nordstrom Rack in May.

Around 8:20 p.m. May 24, two women entered the store at 227 N. Glendale Ave., grabbed about 15 different types of fragrances and placed them in the top portion of their shopping cart, said Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.

They continued browsing the store for several minutes and placed clothing over the perfume bottles, Lightfoot said.

In a secluded aisle, one of the suspects allegedly placed the bottles in her purse, she said.

As both suspects walked out of the store they were confronted by a loss prevention officer, but managed to flee, Lightfoot said.

The suspect who allegedly shoplifted the bottles was described as in her 30s, standing between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 in height, weighing between 170 and 200 pounds and having blonde hair.

The second suspect was between the ages of 38 to 48. She’s described as being between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 in height, weighing between 250 and 280 pounds and having dark hair. She also had the letters “LA” tattooed on her right shoulder, an unknown large tattoo on her chest, a script tattoo on her right and left forearms and unknown script tattoo on her lower back.

Anyone with information about the alleged shoplifting is asked to call Det. Varooj Karibyan at (818) 548-2097.
