Spooktacular takes over Montrose
Halloween revelers enjoyed a night of trick-or-treating at quaint shops, as well as face-painting, a bounce house and a pet-costume contest during the annual Halloween Spooktacular in Montrose on Thursday.

The event, which spanned the 2200 to 2400 blocks of Honolulu Avenue, is hosted by the Montrose Shopping Park Assn., a business promotions organization. In addition to the event on Halloween, the shopping park also celebrates the ghoulish holiday by stringing orange lights on the trees along Honolulu Avenue.
