Verdugo Pool provides relief from the heat

As temperatures reached almost 100 degrees in Burbank on Thursday, local children flocked to the Verdugo Pool for some relief from the heat.

Through Aug. 17, the Verdugo Pool — located at 3201 W. Verdugo Ave. — is open Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The McCambridge Park Pool, located at 1515 N. Glenoaks Blvd., is open Monday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and on weekends from 12:30 to 5 p.m.
The schedules will change after Aug. 17.
