He is also facing felony charges of second-degree burglary, receiving stolen property and possession of child pornography from another incident, according to court records.
Arcos was allegedly spotted by a maintenance employee just before 1 a.m. Jan. 8 walking around the back of Circle View Elementary School, 6261 Hooker Drive, with a shovel, Huntington Beach police reported.
The employee called the police and, while waiting for them to arrive, heard glass breaking, police reported.
Police found Arcos inside a classroom where he had allegedly broken a window, police reported. Arcos was allegedly under the influence of drugs and had child pornography photographs, police reported. He was arrested at the scene.
