Man sentenced for illegal sexual conduct

A Stanton man was sentenced Friday to three years in state prison for engaging in illegal sexual conduct with a teenage boy at the Bella Terra shopping center in Huntington Beach.

Mark Aime Brosseau, 57, must also register as a sex offender for life.

He was found guilty Oct. 30 of one felony count each of lewd acts upon a child, contacting a child with the intent to commit lewd acts and meeting a child with the intent to engage in lewd conduct, according to a statement from the Orange County district attorney's office.

Brosseau had been arrested Sept. 25, 2010, after Huntington Beach police found him partially undressed with a 14-year-old in a parked truck in a parking structure at Bella Terra.

He had met the victim on Craigslist in June 2010.
