Man wounded in Oak View shooting

Huntington Beach police are looking for a man involved in a possibly gang-related shooting in the Oak View neighborhood that left another man hospitalized.

Police responded to a report of a shooting on the 7500 block of Mandrell Drive at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday. Officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics treated him at the scene and took him to a local hospital, where he remains, authorities said.

His injuries were not life-threatening, authorities said.

The man being sought was wearing a baseball cap and dark clothing, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
