Police arrested a Huntington Beach man on suspicion of driving under the influence after a bicyclist was struck by a car and killed Monday.

The bicyclist has been identified as Michael Bastien, 55, of Huntington Beach, but officials have not named the 51-year-old driver of the vehicle.

About 6:30 p.m. Monday, Huntington Beach officers responded to the area of Bolsa Chica Street and Oahu Drive after receiving calls about a collision between a bicyclist and a vehicle.
