Youth Scene: HB All-Star boys take fifth

The national tournament included the top 30 NJB teams in the division and Huntington Beach battled against teams from northern California and Nevada in great, hard-fought games. The team was led by point guard Myles Lopez who led Huntington with a 17 assists per game average. The scoring was led by Riley Sterzer and Jason Gagnon Jr. The rebounding came from power forwards Ben Bernstein and Chase Hoglund. Jack Miller, Roman DiMaggio, Shane Matsumae, Kaleb Plewa and Jacob Hanlon, all contributed to the team's top-five finish.

Huntington took fifth place despite not having its full roster, as All-Stars Griffin Rhoads and Jared Clemons were out with injuries.
