Burglary: 4900 block of Alta Canyada Road, 8:26 a.m. Woman saw intruder, described as a Latino male, enter her home. She ran to her bedroom and called authorities, but the intruder was not found on the premises.
May 12-13
Burglary/vandalism: 1919 Verdugo Road, before 12:15 a.m. on May 13. Sunglasses, iPod dock and driver- and passenger-side mirrors stolen from car. The lock on the driver’s-side door was damaged.
La Crescenta
May 9
Burglary: 2600 block of Ridgepine Drive, 1:41 p.m. Sliding door damage; no items reported missing.
May 10
Carrying a loaded firearm in public: 2700 block of Orange Avenue, 6:20 p.m. A 47-year-old La Crescenta resident who had been stopped for a traffic violation was arrested for carrying a concealed, loaded firearm while driving.
