Mertz ~ West

Ron and Karen Mertz of Greensboro, Ga. announce the engagement of their daughter Nicole McMahon Mertz to Jeffery Allan West, the son of Fred and Darlene West of Greencastle, Ind.

Nicole is a 1998 graduate of La Cañada High School and a 2002 graduate of Texas Christian University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in fashion promotion. Now living in Chicago, she is the visual merchandising coordinator for UGG Australia, covering the Midwest territory.

Jeff is a 1995 graduate of Greencastle High School and a 1999 graduate of University of Evansville. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and is the district manager for Delia’s Inc., based in Chicago.

The couple plan a spring wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation on Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Ga.
