Micah Satterly had 22 points and Michael Arnett added 19 Saturday to lead the Boyle County boys to a 76-71 win over visiting Paul Dunbar.
Aram Martin had 11 points and Kyle Rice had 10 for the Rebels (5-13), who led 38-29 at the half and 57-44 going to the fourth quarter before holding off a Bulldogs rally.
Boyle shot 59.5 percent from the field (25 for 42), going 6 for 15 from 3-point range and 20 for 26 at the foul line.
Satterly was 4 for 8 from 3-point range and 8 for 9 at the line, Arnett was 7 for 9 shooting and 5 for 7 at the line and Rice was 2 for 3 from 3-point range.
Dunbar (16-6) outrebounded Boyle 35-32, with Arnett grabbing nine and Rice eight.
Mercer County 71, Madison Southern 60 — At Nicholasville, John Ingram scored 21 points with seven rebounds to lead the Titans (6-15) over Madison Southern (5-13) in the Coaches Versus Cancer Classic at East Jessamine.
Jordan Duncan had 14 points and six rebounds, Drew Davis had 11 points, Russell¿Sims scored 13 points and Louis price had six boards and three steals for Mercer.
Mercer led 28-27 at the half and outscored Madison Southern 43-33 over the final two quarters to pull away.
Indiana School for the Deaf 76, Kentucky School for the Deaf 38 — At Indianapolis, the Colonels trailed by 16 at the half and could not recover in a loss to ISD.
Merle Baldridge had 26 points and Adam Turner had nine rebounds for KSD¿(5-13), which shot just 14 for 53 from the field.
"Tonight we did not get back on defense quick enough and we also gave ISD too many second chances,”¿KSD¿coach Mike Yance said. “We have been struggling on both ends of the court. I am worried about the way we have been playing with the Mason-Dixon Tournament coming up. We have a lot of work to do before then."
LIGHT 54, Bluegrass Christian 37 —¿At Danville, Macklin Hamilton scored 15 points to lead the Eagles (21-5) over Bluegrass Christian.
Zack Taylor and Josh Smith had five rebounds each as LIGHT¿led 26-10 after one quarter and 34-15 at the half.
LIGHT¿59, CHAT 47 — At Danville, Cameron Owens scored 21 points on 9 of 15 shooting to lead LIGHT.
Macklin Hamilton had 17 points and 10 assists and was 8 for 11 from the field, and David Stoltzfus had eight boards in the win.
LIGHT¿led 38-16 at the half and took a 46-38 lead going to the fourth quarter.
LIGHT 45, Saline Christian 37 — At Danville, LIGHT (19-5) controlled the fourth quarter to win a rematch with Saline (15-3), which had beaten the Eagles earlier this season.
Hamilton hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer at the end of the third quarter to give LIGHT a 34-32 lead, and consecutive 3s by Owens stretched that lead to 40-32 in the fourth quarter before the Eagles slowed the game down for the final 5 minutes.
