Former Lake Clifton guard Josh Selby was waived Sunday by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Selby, The Baltimore Sun's Male Athlete of the Year in 2010, began the 2012-13 NBA season with the Memphis Grizzlies. He has averaged 2.0 points and 5.9 minutes in 10 NBA games this season. Selby also appeared in 11 games for the Canton Charge of the NBA D-League this season, averaging 15.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 32.9 minutes per game.
Selby spent one season at Kansas before declaring for the NBA draft in 2011. He was the No. 49 overall pick by Memphis.
