What does Eminem have against Kim Kardashian?
In the rapper's celebrity-bashing new video, "We Made You," a Kardashian look-alike gets pulverized, head-first, in a wood chipper, a process that releases a cloud of dollar bills into the air.
Also coming under attack: a full-figured " Jessica Simpson," whose provocative pose with football player "Tony Romo" turns out to be ends up with a hamburger hand-off, and a lingerie-clad " Sarah Palin" who gyrates on her desk as a libidinous polar bear looks on. Amy Winehouse, Lindsay Lohan and, of course, singer/publicity -junkie John Mayer also are mocked.
"Back by popular demand," Eminem raps. "Now pop a little Zantac/Or antacid if you can/You're ready to tackle any task that is at hand/How does it feel? Is it fantastic, is it grand?"
Probably not in the case of his victims, but if we know Slim Shady, that's the point.
"There's some celebrity bashing in it," Eminem has said of the video, according to MTV News. "I wanna say it's not necessarily intentional bashing in it. It's not necessarily taking deliberate shots at people. ... Yes, it is. What the [expletive] am I talking about?"
Well, that would certainly explain the Amy Winehouse kiss that launches a stream of projectile vomit.
As for the timing of his attack on self-promoting celebrities, we're sure it's just a coincidence that Mr. Mathers himself has a new album to publicize: "Relapse" is due out May 19.
Eminem's back, and he's got a wood chipper
