A tale of two transfers

The widely admired Circle Theatre production of the moving Australian drama "When the Rain Stops Falling"  (penned by Andrew Bovell) is moving from Oak Park to Chicago. John Gawlik's production will reopen in January at the Greenhouse Theatre Center on Chicago with its original cast and crew intact.

Meanwhile, the Mary-Arrchie Theatre Company is taking its production of the Tracy Letts comedy "Superior Donuts" to the Royal George Theatre's cabaret space. The Non-Equity production reopens there on Nov. 2.

The Royal George mainstage remains dark this fall after the planned production of the Richard Pryor biography failed to get its financing.
