Power on part of the Forest Park branch of the Blue Line was turned off briefly this morning after a person fell on the tracks at a West Side "L" stop.
The person fell onto the tracks at the Kedzie Avenue stop, 530 S. Kedzie Ave., about 11:30 a.m. Power was turned off between the Cicero and Medical Center stops on the westbound Blue Line as Chicago Fire Department rescuers removed the person from the tracks, a CTA spokeswoman said.
Power was turned back on and trains were operating again by about 11:50 a.m., according to the CTA.
