"The Book of Mormon" is releasing another 12-week block of tickets for its Chicago engagement. The new tickets, which go on sale Sept. 21, cover performances through June 2.
This is not expected to be the last "extension," although it remains an open question how long "The Book of Mormon" will play in Chicago. Certainly, the producers are proceding very cautiously for such a high-demand Broadway show, ensuring that almost all tickets are sold before releasing additional weeks in relatively small groupings.
"The Book of Mormon" features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. The Chicago engagement is at the Bank of America Theatre, 22 W. Monroe St., beginning Dec. 11.
