The Goodman Theatre said Wednesday that Deanna Dunagan will appear in the role of Polly in the upcoming production of "Other Desert Cities," slated for January of next year.
Dunagan, who will play the role currently played on Broadway by Stockard Channing, won the Tony Award for her work in Tracy Letts' "August: Osage County" on Broadway. She has worked rarely in Chicago since that role.
"Other Desert Cities," penned by Jon Robin Baitz, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. The Goodman production is to be directed by Henry Wishcamper.
