Two Chicago hotels and three restaurants have been awarded the top five-star designation in the annual Forbes Travel Guide ratings.
The honored hotels were the Four Seasons and The Peninsula, and the restaurants were Alinea, Charlie Trotter's and L2O.
Chicago hotels given four-star ratings were The Elysian, The Ritz-Carlton and Trump International Hotel and Tower. Four-star restaurants were Everest, Graham Elliot, Les Nomades, Ria, Seasons, Sixteen, and Tru.
While we had no five-star spas, we had four four-star spas, all at hotels that were also honored: The Elysian, Trump, The Peninsula and Four Seasons.
