Michelle Obama was among the mourners at the funeral of former Chicago first lady Maggie Daley.
The first indications that Obama would attend the funeral came early this morning when an order was issued restricting air space around O'Hare International Airport -- presumably to make way for her arrival.
The flight restriction kicked in at 8:30 a.m. and bans flights over the city for about 5 1/2 hours due to "VIP movement."
Other Washington officials at the funeral this morning were top White House adviser Valerie Jarrett, Education Secretary Arne Duncan and Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood.
The funeral was at Old St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 700 W. Adams St.
